WHERE WE WORK

Our Story

More Than Contractors.
Project Partners.

EDC is an experienced industrial electrical engineering company dedicated to providing a professional service aimed at achieving results for our clients. Founded in 1999 and based at Wodonga, on the Victoria–New South Wales border, we’ve grown into one of the largest and most respected industrial electrical contractors in the Albury–Wodonga region.

We service clients throughout Australia, and further afield in New Zealand and South East Asia. Long-term partnerships are what we’re known for — and we believe that comes down to one habit: pinpointing what a client actually needs, developing a focused strategy, implementing it, and following through to completion, on time and within budget.

Our 100-plus-strong team, including Master Electricians, works under a safety management system independently certified to AS/NZS 4801. In industrial electrical, there’s no such thing as a small mistake.

  • Industrial electrical automation
  • Control systems safety design
  • Hazardous area zoning & installation
  • Industrial data & communications
  • High voltage installations
  • Detailed electrical design
  • Turnkey automation engineering
  • MCC & switchroom fabrication

“At EDC, our goal is straightforward: to combine all our commitment, passion, expertise and experience to achieve results for our clients.”

JASON FLOWER, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Why Work With Us

Reputation. Safety. Experience.

Reputation

Over 25 years, EDC has earned a name for being trustworthy and transparent. Our reputation is only as good as our last job, so we hold ourselves to that standard on every single one. Clients stay with us because they’ve learned they can trust us.

Safety

Clients regularly comment on our team’s commitment to onsite safety — attending every toolbox, planning and management meeting, and, in one client’s words, “often leading the way in safety onsite” with no incidents recorded. Safety training isn’t a checkbox; it’s a standing priority.

Experience

Many of our people have been with EDC since the start, others for more than a decade. That kind of tenure means our team has already found what works — and built the manufacturer and distributor relationships that translate into better cost outcomes for clients.

Our Team

Led by people who’ve done the work.

Our staff are our greatest asset — many have been with EDC from the start, and it shows in the loyalty of the clients they look after. The directors below carry decades of combined industry experience between them, across engineering, project delivery, design and data.
